AVA 3D Designer enables designers and engravers to design, evaluate, fault check and produce structures, such as embossing files, in much shorter time than the traditional approach. As you’d expect, this product works with the existing AVA editing, layout and colouring tools to simulate the structure in repeat, in colour, all-over or in-register. Scan your structures in 2D or 3D, or create your own structure effects or re-use and re-integrate archived structures. Share the data with your customer or supplier. Rapidly produce tactile “haptic” print samples in-house.
Key Features
Bring design to life
Designers can create their own structure effects or re-integrate archived structure files. Communicate requirements more clearly with engraver. Fault check and fix files unwanted reflective areas, banding and repeating errors. The design really comes to life in the interactive 3D Simulation window, and especially impressive, is the ability to print the design to a range of haptic printers (e.g. Roland, Canon Arizona, Mimaki) to create a digital prototype. This unique product not only enhances and speeds up the creative and production process of 3D structures, but it also significantly reduces / eliminates the need for analogue sampling, such as plates, woven / tufted samples and mini embossing rollers.
Compatibility
Compatible with Metis® and Cruse® 3D scanners. Import the raw RGB scan, height map and reflective areas (gloss) at high resolution. View the data in repeat and edit in 3D to ensure endless repeat. Combine designs and structures.
CUSTOMISE YOUR TOOLS
Many of the AVA tools and functions can be amalgamated into “Palettes”. These Palettes can create brand new, custom tools, as well as one-click workflow accelerators.
