At AVA CAD/CAM we are extremely proud to support the i-dott 2024 design competition (Inspiring the Designers of Tomorrow, Today), now running in its eleventh year.
The organisation is passionate about helping students and designers get their foot in the door of the industry. We share this enthusiasm and are excited to let you know that the design briefs for 2024 are live! This time around there are five inspirational categories from prominent industry experts, and for the first time ever, the competition briefs include a European collaboration giving you the opportunity to open even more doors!
The competition is an excellent opportunity to gain experience designing to industry-standard briefs, win prizes, and establish invaluable connections with the surface print industry AND it’s free to enter, so why not explore your creativity and send your designs in!

Once again, AVA are pleased to support the competition by awarding one designer with the AVA training prize. This includes the opportunity take part in our industry recognised and accredited, online CAD Specialist Training course (including a short loan of the software) for free.
