Automatic Separation with dither
Automatically separate flat and tonal designs with dither. Especially useful for creating super-fast colourways to visualise your design in different ways.
Silhouette tool
A new tool for masking and creative work; the Silhouette Tool facilitates rapid masking or clean copying of scanned designs, this new tool adds extra control, and improves redrawing.
Quickly generate Texture Mapping Grids
Free-hand draw a series of paths on the design document to quickly generate complex grids.
Combined Dodge and Burn
Dodge one layer while burning another to quickly adjust the contrast in separations – incredibly useful when working on textures.
Cloud Keys
AVA’s exciting new virtual licensing system offers both convenience and flexibility, allowing you to use your AVA key anywhere with an internet connection and on multiple computers without worrying about losing your dongle. If you are interested in switching to Cloud keys, please get in touch.
Directional Gaussian Blur
Gaussian blur can now be performed at any angle using the new directional option in filter options.
New Look Assist
AVA’s user support site has been given a fresh new look and an improved user interface.
New Chamfer Filter
Add 3D bevel effects to a design or a selection of a design. Adding visual realism to wood planks or floor tiles.
Percentages Window updates
The Percentages Window is quicker than ever! You can now copy out and export data, as well as view only active layers calculations.
Rotating custom brushes
It is now possible to rotate custom brushes using your 3, 4 and 5 keys on the keyboard – speeding up the creative process!
Create custom brushes with selections
Use the selection contextual menu to quickly add your selection into the Brushes Window
Use your current Brush as a Stamp or add your Stamp as a Brush!
The stamp brush has been improved, allowing you to use your current brush as the stamp, as well as being able to add your current stamp to the Brushes Window at the click of a button!
Print Factory RIP Integration
We have partnered with Print Factory to provide a seamless, integrated workflow between AVA’s tools and Print Factory, with no interruption in your colour management from screen to print, giving you access to Print Factory’s list of over 3500 printer drivers. Simplified Colour Management
Settings for Soft Proofing and Printer Gamut Warnings are all now configured in the CMS controller, simplifying your colour management settings.
