All New Repeat Window.
All the features of Set Repeat and the Set Repeat Inspector are now conveniently placed inside one neat Repeat Window. We now have a handy indicator for your current repeat which when clicked provides access to the main repeat settings without having to open an additional window.

3D Designer – Structure Simulation has a new name and a new User Interface.
AVA Structure Simulation has been rebranded AVA 3D Designer and has had a significant redesign, bringing all the controls into one location.

Extend Design Document.
This great new feature is perfect for automatically and easily applying borders around your design.

Carbon Copy Tool now previews the area which is being copied.
A new feature which is guaranteed to please anyone who uses the Carbon Copy Tool. AVA 5.6 introduces a preview of the area that is going to be copied as you paint, and delivers real time feedback on the look of the design as you work.

Patterned brush cursor.
Along with the live previews you get with the Carbon Copy Tool, the Brush Cursor will now update to show any pattern chosen.

Vector node improvements.
Vector nodes have redrawn to make them easier to select and manipulate.

Improved Colourway Browser.
Along with a facelift the Colourway Browser now allows you to quickly search by name or colourway index.

Performance – the new and improved Memory Preference.
It now only takes one click to set up the design memory to our recommended amount of RAM. Alternatively you now have the option to specify the RAM to use as a percentage of what you have available on your Mac.

More responsive Layers Window.
Opening, resizing and layer previews have all had a speed increase.

Magic Wand and Bucket Tool See Improvements.
New option ‘Visible Spot Layers’ allows you to only apply the tools to Spot Layers.
