AVA have been creating software to facilitate the design and production of decorative print for use on Apple® Macs® for almost as long as they have been around.
Our focus on a relatively narrow area of the total ‘print’ market has enabled us to develop highly specialised software based on continuous feedback from partner customers, with whom we have now been working for several decades, in a process of continuous review and improvement. AVA today is structured in two (overlapping) groups. One group focuses on the particular needs and challenges of printing onto textiles (Fashion, Home Furnishing), while the other specialises in the challenges of decorative printing onto other ‘Surfaces’ (Flooring, Wallcoverings, Ceramics).
We believe that even the best software can only fulfil its full potential as an aid to improved quality and productivity if its users are properly trained and supported. That’s why we have built a unique team of multi-lingual industry specialists to provide unlimited training and support for our customers all over the world.
As we emerge from the Covid 19 pandemic, AVA will be striving to find the right balance between positive lessons learned – for example, with regard to the effectiveness of individually tailored e-training delivered to customers anywhere in the world at the time of their choosing, in reducing both cost and the environmental impact of (unnecessary) global travel – with the need for physical, on-site training and customer support in certain situations – for example the installation and calibration of new digital printers. In looking to find just the right balance for individual customers, members of the AVA team will never be allowed to forget that AVA is committed to being a technology partner – not just a ‘software producer’ – to our customers; a fact which is reflected in the fact that we continue to invest as much in looking after our customers as we do in developing outstanding software.
