To check layer colours, go to AVA > Inspectors > Warnings > Gamut Tab > tick Gamut Warnings on Colour blocks. Layer chips will display Monitor and Printer (M & P triangle) gamut warnings if out of colour range of the device gamut. If a colour displays both warning symbols, the colour is not guaranteed to match from screen to print. To check overprint colours, if any designs layers overprint to create new colour variations, e.g.. Magenta and Yellow to make a red, go to AVA > Inspectors > Warnings > Gamut Tab > Tick Monitor and Printer. Set the Threshold dE as 1 and Max dE as 5. Alt click the colour chip to change the chip colour which will be displayed as the warnings. Go to top menu bar > View > Design Gamut Warnings. The design will be shown as areas of the warning colour set, with areas of colour way out of gamut shown as the solid colour, areas slightly out but within the threshold set, will show as tones of the warning colour. This should relate to any areas of colour which seem to be way off with the match. Go to top menu bar > View > Design Gamut Warnings to unstick and turn it off. faq1c
